ADVERB OF REASON
The word which express reason, is called
adverb of reason
. They are : hence, therefore etc.(The test question is why ?)
Examples
There wasn’t enough light,
hence
the match was stopped.
There was unseasoned heavy rain,
therefore
, the match was postponed.
